Ear Infections... NO MORE!!!

Finally Oakley is going "under the knife" and getting tubes put in! I hope she never has another ear infection again!

On Wednesday afternoon I took her in to Dr. Moesinger - who is a quirky old man... (We use to see Dr. Gordon, but he is old and getting ready to retire and doesn't do surgeries anymore, so my pediatrician recommended Dr. Moesinger - I thought he would be younger... No, in fact it wouldn't surprise me if he is older than Dr. Gordon!) Dr. Moesinger was great, very thorough and did a good job of explaining everything. He was a little concerned that she is still so little, but he said it's not good to be having a continuous ear infection either. So he sounded pretty positive that she would do fine. I'm not too concerned. We did this twice with Dallon - and he definitely was no bigger than she was the first time around.

So March 26th is the big day! Everybody cross their fingers that this works and she will be free from the ear infections! I really, really hope this works!

Ear tubes are the BEST things ever! Both of my girls had never ending ear infections. Then my littlest one became anti-biotic resistant. Like I said tubes are the best! Good luck, I'm sure she'll do fine.

HI!! I'm so glad you found me! OKAY, so I'm not a big fan of Dr. Moesinger. I go to Dr. Siddoway (& Dr. Bykazi) at the Ogden Clinic. They are both wonderful (and not as old as Dr. M.) I'm glad those ear infections are better, though. No fun.

Thanks for your blog info.! I'm going to add a link to it from mine! YAY!! ♥ ya! ♫

Dr Moesinger???? Holy crap that guy took out my tonsils over 32 years ago...he must be getting old!! I remember seeing him 12 years ago and thinking, "This guy is still practicing? He's so old!!"

Dr. Moesinger is a great dr., but he is VERY old and he doesn't have a lot of bedside manner, just so you know. He's very matter of fact, get it done. He does a good job though. You'll have to ask Jennifer, but I think he did Ethan's tubes. He used to be my ENT as well, but I switched recently myself.
