EASTER!

Easter Saturday we went to the annual egg-hunt/candy-throw that Farr West City puts on. It's was a little chilly!!! The sun might have been shining, but that wind was blowing and it was COLD! Luckily it's a 10 minute wait and a 2 minute "hunt" for the candy and a 30 second walk back to the car. Afterwards we went to Jeremiah's for breakfast and got to sit next to the fireplace while we waited to be seated - so we got warmed up pretty good! Of course, Ryan and Dallon were complaining because it was just too warm for them... Oakley and I thought it was nice, so we didn't move.

Easter morning was fun. We don't go too crazy for Easter - the kids get a small toy and a basket with candy. They were pretty excited! If we would have let Oakley, she would have just sat down and ate every piece of chocolate she could... wrappers and all!







Dallon got a pocket-sized color wonder and Oakley got some little people (she likes to suck on their heads) and then of course plenty of peanut butter cups. The kids will thank me when they get older and realize that Mom won't allow Dad to pick out the Easter candy... because if I did, they would end up with no chocolate and all fruity candy. YUCK!!!
