Dave lives in Dillon and is a fishing guide up there - so of course there was a lot of fishing going on as well! We left Friday morning and got up there that afternoon. That night we had a bonfire and roasted marshmallows and made smores. (I didn't take any pictures that night, good job on my part!)

Dallon made a new best friend, Maddison, Dave's step-daughter. They played so well together! They also could drive everybody crazy together too! But I don't think I ever heard "I'm bored" the entire trip (which was heavenly). However, I did hear "When can we go get Maddison?" But that was alright because most of the time we were going to meet up with them. So thanks to Maddison for keeping Dallon entertained!

Saturday was the wedding. It was at a lodge in Twin Bridges, Montana (about 20 minutes away). It was so pretty out there! The wedding was short and sweet! Shara looked beautiful and Dave looked very handsome. We had such a good time out there!
[Our Family]
Sunday we were suppose to go to Virgina City - but... I got strep throat. We are in the middle of nowhere (sorry Dave & Shara, but we are!) and the "walk-in clinic" is closed for the holiday weekend. I thought for sure I was going to have to go to the emergency room (wherever the closest hospital was) for strep, however, thanks to Aunt Kathy she was able to get a doctor to call in a prescription for me and I was feeling much better by the mid-afternoon. But it kind of ruined the whole day. Sorry guys!
Ryan & Dallon did go fishing with Uncle Jim on his boat on the Clarke Reservoir, but once again no pictures were taken! Supposedly Ryan caught a "really big fish" but conveniently it jumped out of Ryan's hands before anyone got a picture!
Fish story?
Perhaps.
Dallon really liked the boat, he wishes they had caught more fish, but he had a good time. Thanks to Uncle Jim for giving Dallon a ride on the Ranger Boat that goes sooo fast! (like 55 mph)

On Monday morning Ryan went with Dave and they went fly fishing down the river. This time Ryan did catch a fish and had a picture to prove it!
It looks to me like a pretty good sized fish. Good job Ryan! Thank goodness they let them go - I didn't want to have that in my fridge and I certainly wouldn't be cooking it! Catch and Release! Love it.
[Ryan releasing his fish back into the river]
After Ryan got back from fishing, we headed home to a dirty house and a laundry room full of laundry. I think we must have taken every piece of clothing we owned on this trip... I hate doing laundry. But the trip was worth it!
Congratulations Dave & Shara!
