Halloween Night

The night of Halloween... Mom and I got the trio (Dallon, Erin & Phoenix) ready to go trick-or-treating. Dallon was easy, all he had to do was put on his astronaut jumpsuit and zip it up - he was ready. Boy's costumes are so easy... As for the girls we had to curl their hair and poof it and spray it and then we had to put on their costumes - which is multiple parts and processes... Boys costumes are definitely easier!

Once Ryan, or should I say the Joker, got home we headed out to get some candy. We wanted to go early before it got too dark and cold - so this is like 5:30 at night! We hit the usuals, Kemos', Shaw's, Stain's, Saunder's, Alexander's and then we went down a small road (aka: Celestial Row) and we were done! It took about an hour and the kids were happy and done and we were back home to answer the one trick-or-treater that we got for the night... Our numbers are going down, last year we got 5 families, this year we got 1 family. We even give out good chocolate treats...

Here is the Joker (from Batman) and Dallon the Astronaut. Aren't they cute! Funny thing about Ryan's costume - There are pants that go with it (that aren't wranglers) but he had forgotten about them, so he was the Cowboy Joker. You can't see, but yes, he wore his cowboy boots!

Phoenix was Minnie Mouse. She looks so cute and innocent, but don't let her fool you! She is a little pistol. She definitely has her Mother in her! She likes her hair to be "poofed". So we poofed it good!

Dorothy! She decided that she didn't like the tights that she wore to the trunk-or-treating and she just wanted to wear frilly socks - so it was warm enough that night so we let her. She looked really cute in her costume We did pig-tails in her hair this time and it turned out really cute, we should have done her hair that way the first time! She was a wonderful Dorothy.

Once again, the Astronaut can not just stand there and let us take his picture. He has to make some goofy move and face... He always likes to be the center of attention... He may be in for a rude awakening in a few weeks when Oakley gets here! But as for the Halloween costume, he made a wonderful astronaut and the jumpsuit was well worth the $30 I had to pay for it!

Here is the trio - all ready to go! I thought this picture was hilarious of Phoenix. Grandma was getting mad at her because she wouldn't stand still and smile so we could get a good picture. So she stood still and smiled her hardest - as you can tell. She almost looks like she is in pain! Funny kids.

Look at how cute! My Ethan was an astronaut at that same age. He still likes to dress up like that. LOL Dallin is just adorable. And the girls are SO pretty. I am so glad that they have all of you.
