When Will She Fall???

Never, I hope! We do everything we can, short of putting her on a leash or something, but then she would probably do something dangerous with that too! So this is what I come into the kitchen to find (more than once.) Mind you the bar stools are all put up on the counter, the bench is pushed far enough away so she can't climb up from there... so just how does she do this?!

Well, we think she is scaling the knobs on the drawers with her chubby little feet! However, no one has yet to see her do this, but I can't imagine of any other way. She's a climber!

On a funner note, Oakley does some pretty funny facial expressions. One that she has done for 6+ months is what we call "STOP!" She puts out one or both hands and makes a crazy little face. We finally got it on camera after lots of tries! - she does not cooperate with the camera (her little friend, Elizabeth, needs to fill her in on how that works!) She's a handful, but we love her!

Cute little climber girl! Maybe she opens the cupboards and climbs on the shelfs...that's how I reach things sometimes :).

She is too funny! So stinkin' cute! I've never had a climber that like, I'm sure it's frustrating and a little scary at times. Good Luck with that one!

It was great to see you at work. We'll have to chat one night and catch up. Kids and climbing...Kate can find my purse anywhere and climbs up to get my gum.

I can't believe she's climbing your drawers to get to cabinets! Elizabeth barely figured out how to get up on the chairs! Elizabeth can teach Oakley how to "cheese," but we'll wait to have Oakley reciprocate with the climbing lessons.

We should have a play date so the girls can "cheese" it up. Every time I get the camera out now, Elizabeth runs up and takes it and smashes her face on the screen and says "Cheese!" It's cute, but annoying when you want to actually capture the cute face. ;)
