The BIG Finish

The Tee-Ball season has come to a close. {Praise the Heavens above!} Unfortunately I was unable to take pictures from the last several games since I had to take on the "Coach" position because the original Coach had been unable to come to the Tuesday night games. For those of you who know me... Sports really aren't my thing! So yes, it was a little awkward coaching something I know nothing about and it was probably pretty funny to watch. There was a lot of "go stand on that base..." and "go stand in between those bases..." - Ryan would die if he saw how I had the team "positioned" (if you can call it that).

Ryan did come home to coach the last game, which took 7 hours of driving, round trip. But it was worth it. The kids were so glad to have him back for the last game of the season, and so was I! Because it was the last game the Coaches were able to pitch to their players if they wanted. Ryan let each kid decide if they wanted to be pitched to, which most of them did. So Ryan would give them 3 pitches and then if they were unable to hit they used the tee. They all had a lot of fun.

Dallon wasn't able to hit from Ryan's pitch, but he was able to make some good hits from the tee. Dallon is a runner. For as little as he is... he can move. I think Dallon enjoys being in the outfield more than he does batting. He told me he likes to make "good plays". He has a good arm and is able to throw pretty far.

Well I'm glad it's over, but I'm glad we did it. Dallon learned a lot, as did I, about baseball.

GO YANKEES!

Glad to hear that Dallon (and Ryan!) had fun at t-ball! I thought of Dallon the other night! I finally saw the bugs that light up and thought that he would have fun with them again!!! Tell everybody hi out there and give those kids of yours a hug for me!

My Cameron loved to look at all the baseball pictures, Boys! Way to go on being a coach, I would have died. What we do for our kids. Glad Ryan made it back for the last game!
